Qualifying Conditions
The proposed bill named the North Carolina Compassionate Care Act lists the following as qualifying conditions that can get North Carolina patients approved for a marijuana card.
Below is a list of the medical conditions that can qualify you for a medical marijuana card in North Carolina.
HIV/AIDS
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
sickle cell anemia
Parkinson’s disease
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
cachexia or wasting syndrome
severe or persistent nausea (for bedridden or hospice patients)
terminal illness when patients life expectancy is less than six months
Any other serious medical condition or its treatment added by the North Carolina Medical Cannabis Advisory Board
